Wild-Harvested from the Treetops of Sumatra

High above the rainforest floor of Sumatra, wild Apis dorsata honeybees build expansive open-air hives along the towering branches of ancient Tualang trees. Rising more than 250 feet into the tropical canopy, these trees allow bees to forage across a broad landscape of native rainforest blossoms.

Yellow Tualang Honey is carefully harvested from these elevated hives using traditional climbing methods practiced for generations. The honey matures naturally in the warm equatorial climate before being gently collected and minimally handled to preserve its natural integrity.

This grade is known for its bright golden amber color and mild, easy-drinking character. Laboratory analysis confirms a naturally occurring presence of pollen grains drawn from a wide variety of tropical plant sources. The result is a honey that reflects the lighter, more delicate side of Sumatra’s rainforest nectar.
