Baked Honey Lime Salmon

Ingredients

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Beelicious Mango bloosom honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

 

For Serving:

  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander (cilantro), finely chopped

Directions

Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.

Prepare the Honey Lime Marinade:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, lime juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Marinate the Salmon:

  1. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Brush the honey lime marinade generously over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated.
  3. Allow it to marinate for 10-15 minutes at room temperature for the flavors to develop.

Bake the Salmon:

  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of the fillets.

Serve:

  1. Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven.
  2. Serve each fillet with a few lemon slices on the side.
  3. Sprinkle the salmon with freshly chopped coriander.
