Ingredients

For the Waffles:
  • 1-½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt1-½ cups milk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

For the Honey Drizzle:

  • 4 tbsp honey

Directions

Prepare the Waffle Batter:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Cook the Waffles:

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
  3. Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron, using the recommended amount for your specific model. Close the waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes per waffle, depending on the waffle iron.
  4. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Assemble and Serve:

  1. Cut each waffle into pieces.
  2. Arrange 3 waffle pieces on each serving plate.
  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey evenly over the waffle pieces.
