Honeyed Lemon-Mint Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1-2 tablespoons Honey with ginseng (adjust to taste)
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves

Directions

  1. Boil the water in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the ginger and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the lemon slices and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in the mint leaves, and let steep for 2 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into cups and stir in honey with ginseng to taste.
  6. Serve hot or chilled over ice as per your choice.
