Upside Down Peach Puff Pastry A la Mode

Ingredients

  • Bee-licious Fireweed Honey
  • 2 ripe but firm yellow peaches, cut in half, pitted and sliced
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of flaky salt
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, cut into 3in x 3in squares
  • 1 egg, whisked together for egg wash
  • Ice cream of choice

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ยบ. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle your desired amount of Bee-licious Fireweed honey roughly 6 inches apart. Fan out the peach halves so that they cover the honey. Top with a drizzle of honey, a sprinkle of cinnamon and flaky sea salt. Layer the puff pastry on top and use your fingertips to press around the edges of the peach then use a fork to crimp around the edges of the puff pastry. Brush each puff pastry in the egg wash.
  2. Bake for 13-15 minutes until puffed and lightly golden brown. Serve with your favorite ice cream and a drizzle of honey and enjoy!
